Alana Costello
Alana Costello (b. 1994) works with a diverse array of materials, including charcoal, oil pastel, acrylic and watercolor paint, as well as digital art. She has previously studied at the Art Student’s League and has a B.A. in Creative Writing from SUNY Purchase. She’s based in Uptown Manhattan where she shares a collaborative studio space with Audubon Lab Recording. She is a former student of poetry and fiction, she aspires to tell narratives with her visual work. Over the years, she has shared a unique space with an up and coming recording studio. Many of the musicians who have walked through the doors have been the subjects of her work, as well as fellow visual artists. Currently her work is on view from April 20th until May 14th at Din Din NYC in Williamburg Brooklyn, NY.
