Work With Dancers 

In addition to being a performer, John Lander is also a master dance accompanist. He has worked domestically and internationally accompanying and composing for some of the most prestigious ballet and modern dance companies and schools in the world, including the ABT School, Dance Theater of Harlem, Mark Morris Dance Group, Ballet Hispanico, the Paul Taylor Company, the Limon Company, the Martha Graham Company, the Lyon Opera Ballet, the Juilliard School, NYU, and Columbia University/Barnard College, to name a few. From traditional classical repertoire to avante-garde to hip-hop, John works seamlessly between the piano, drums/percussion set, guitar, bass, and electronics to instantaneously create fully fleshed compositions on the spot, regardless of genre, style, or method.
