Alice Orpheus

Alice Orpheus is a versatile composer and singer-songwriter who skillfully blends contemporary, electronic, and classical music elements. Orpheus's formal training includes studies at conservatories in Rueil-Malmaison and Gennevilliers (France), as well as the New England Conservatory in Boston, where Orpheus focused on jazz, classical music, and improvisation, learning from renowned musicians. Orpheus has shared their expertise as an educator, teaching at the University of Auckland in New Zealand and establishing a methodology class at Cours Florent Musique in Paris. In 2009, Orpheus signed with the deep house label Komplex de Deep, collaborating with Master-H on three EPs. Later, Orpheus composed "2084," a significant musical mini-series commissioned by the city of Chevilly-Larue, uniting over 80 students from various schools and the conservatory in a large-scale performance.
